Essential educational qualification required for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination is as follows:

(a) obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or

UPSC ESE Admit Card
The candidates whose applications will be provisionally accepted by the commission will be issued Admit Cards for appearing in the Preliminary Exam.
- UPSC will not issue admit cards by post for any stage of the exam.
- The admit card will consist of the information about the time table and city/ centre of the exam for the candidate.
- Candidates can download the admit card about one week before the exam.
- The candidates must bring the printout of the Admit Card to the Examination Venue along with at least 02 passport size photographs and original valid Photo ID proof.
UPSC ESE Result 2019
UPSC will release the ESE Result soon after the exam is held. In order to check the result, candidates have to search in with their respective UPSC ESE exam roll number. The result of Preliminary Exam will be out first.
