|For Indian Military Academy||Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1997 and not later than 1st January 2002 only are eligible.|
|For Indian Naval Academy||Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1997 and not later than 1st January 2002 only are eligible.|
|For Air Force Academy||20 to 24 years as on 1st January, 2021 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2001 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st January, 2001) only are eligible.|
|For Officers’ Training Academy||(SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1996 and not later than 1st January 2002 only are eligible.|
|For Officers’ Training Academy||(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. UPSC CDS Educational Qualification
Essential educational qualification required for the UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam is as follows:
|For IMA and Officers’ Training Academy||Candidates must have obtained Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.|
|For Indian Naval Academy||Candidates must have obtained a Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.|
|For Air Force Academy||Candidates must have obtained Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.|

UPSC CDS I Exam Syllabus
The Union Public Service Commission has prescribed the syllabus for CDS exam in the official notification. The written exam comprises of questions from English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics topics. The SSB stage comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception Description Tests (PP&DT). UPSC CDS I Admit Card 2019
The candidates whose applications will be provisionally accepted by the commission will be issued Admit Cards for appearing in the Written Exam.
- Admit Cards for the exam will be uploaded on the UPSC website.
- UPSC will not issue admit cards by post for any stage of the exam.
- The admit card will consist of the information about the time table and city/ centre of the exam for the candidate.
- Candidates can download the admit card about one week before the exam.
- The candidates must bring the printout of the Admit Card to the Examination Venue along with at least 02 passport size photographs and original valid Photo ID proof.

UPSC CDS Exam-I Result 2020
The Union Public Service Commission shall prepare a list of candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination as fixed by the Commission. A final merit/cut-off list is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s score in all the stages of the exam including medical fitness. Candidates who qualify written exam will be called for intelligence and personality test at the Service
