SSC CGL Educational Qualification

Post Name Qualification
Junior Statistical Officer Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course.
For all other Posts Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

SSC CGL Exam Pattern

Before you start preparing for an exam, you must know its exam pattern. The SSC CGL 2019 Exam will be conducted in four tiers:- Tier-I (Computer Based Examination), Tier-II (Computer Based Examination), Tier-III (Pen and Paper Mode) (Descriptive Paper) and Tier-IV (Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test/ Document Verification). Candidates have to clear each stage to get qualified.

SS CGL Exam Syllabus

Tier-I and Tier-II will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension in Tier-I and Paper-II in Tier-II. The syllabus for Tier-I includes topics from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and English Comprehension will be of Graduation Level and questions in Quantitative Aptitude will be of 10th Standard Level. Before appearing for the particular exam the candidates should go through the whole syllabus and prepared as per the Syllabus and SSC CGL Exam Pattern.

SSC CGL Admit Card 2019

The candidates whose applications will be provisionally accepted by the commission will be issued Admit Cards for appearing in the Paper-I.

  • Admit Cards for the exam will be uploaded on the website of the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices of SSC.
  • SSC will not issue admit cards by post for any stage of the exam.
  • The admit card will consist of the information about the timetable and city/center of the exam for the candidate.
  • Candidates can download the admit card about one week before the exam.
  • The candidates must bring the printout of the Admit Card to the Examination Venue along with at least 02 passport size photographs and original valid Photo ID proof.

SSC CGL Result 2019

The Commission will release the SSC CGL Result for each stage separately as soon as the exam is held. Candidates can check the result in the file uploaded by the Commission with their respective roll number. The result of Tier-I will be out first.
