NTA NET Exam Pattern – NTA Recruitment

NTA UGC NET ExamUGC NTA has released NET December 2019 notification and candidates can apply online before October 09, 2019. Every applicant who is going to appear for the exam must have knowledge about the NTA UGC NET December 2019 Exam Pattern and Syllabus. NTA NET Pattern 2019

Scope of ExaminationNo. of Questions
CBT – 300 Max Marks and 03 Hours
Paper-I
The questions in Paper I intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.

50 Questions

 

Paper-II
This is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.
100 Questions

Paper I is the General Aptitude Test which consists of sections like– Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Comprehension, Communication, Higher Education System etc. There will be 50 questions each of two marks and candidates must attempt all the 50 questions. Paper-II is the test of the subject selected by the candidates. There are no negative marks for an incorrect response.

Important Points:

  • For each correct response the candidate will get 2 marks.
  • There is no negative marking for an incorrect response.
  • There will be no break between papers (Paper-I and Paper-II).
  • The questions in Paper I intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate.
