IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2019

IBPS has released the notification for the post of Office Assistant & Officer Scale I, II and III and candidates can apply online before July 04, 2019. Every applicant who is going to appear for the exam must have knowledge about Exam Pattern and Syllabus. Check IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2019 with latest exam syllabus on this page. There will be 3 stages for the post of Officer Scale – I i.e. Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview. A single exam followed by Interview will be held for the posts of Officer Scale-II and III.

  • Number of Examination Phases: Three i.e : (Preliminary Exam), (Main Examination) and (Interview)
  • Examination Mode: Online
  • Types of Questions: Objective and Multiple Choice Questions
  • Medium: English, Hindi and Selected Regional Language
  • Marking Criteria: +1 for each correct answer and -0.25 for each wrong answer

Candidates (for both posts) have to qualify in both the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks. An adequate number of candidates in each category, depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

Important Points:

  • As per the recent notice, the examination structure for Online Main Examination for posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) has been revised.
  • Now, the version of tests will be English and language as applied to the state (for which application is registered). The questions will appear in English and the selected (regional) language.
  • For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment.
  • For the post of Officers Scale I, each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.
  • For the posts of Officers Scale II and III, each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Single examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.

Candidates can opt either English Language or Hindi Language.

Interview

Candidates shortlisted in the Main Exam for the post of Officers Scale I and in the single level exam for the posts of Officers Scale II and III will be called for Interview. The interview is coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. While appearing for the Interview, the candidate should produce valid prescribed documents.
