HPSAS Exam – Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Allied Services Exam
This exam is conducted by HPPSC to recruit the aspiring candidates in the Excise and Taxation, Cooperation and Election Departments for the posts of Excise & Taxation Inspectors, Inspector (Audit) Cooperative Societies and Election Kanungo respectively. The candidate should be a Graduate from a recognized university/ institution. For the recruitment into the above-mentioned departments, the candidates have to go through the Preliminary Exam and Main Exam. Only the candidates who qualify the Prelims Exam are called for Main Exam. These exams are conducted to test the General Knowledge and Language Knowledge of the candidate.
HPAS Exam – HP Administrative Combined Competitive Exam
For the recruitment of the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services and Police Services, the HPPSC conducts HPAS Exam. Through this exam, vacancies are filled for various posts such as Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, Treasury Officer, District Controller, Assistant Registrar, etc. Any Graduate candidate can apply for this exam. The recruitment of these services takes place on the basis of the Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Viva Voce. The candidates who qualify through the exams are entitled to a Viva Voce.
HP SET – Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test
The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts State Eligibility Test (SET) for determining the eligibility for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor in Universities and colleges located within the state of Himachal Pradesh. The test is conducted in 22 subjects. Candidates having Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/ institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications are eligible for this test.
HPJS Exam – HP Judicial Service Competitive Exam
The HPPSC conducts this exam for the recruitment to the posts of Civil Judge. Before applying for the exam, a candidate must be a holder of a Degree in Law as recognized by the Bar Council of India. The recruitment for Judicial Services is done in three parts i.e. Preliminary Exam, Main (Narrative) Exam, and Viva Voce. Candidates successfully qualifying through the Prelims Exam are entitled to Main Exam and the candidates successfully qualifying through the Main Exam are entitled to Viva Voce.
The candidates must prepare themselves thoroughly before appearing for these exams, which are conducted at the state level.
