Professor of Anatomy
For Medical Candidates:
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS in Anatomy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject
For Non-Medical Candidates:
(i) Master’s Degree in Anatomy.
(ii) Doctorate Degree of a recognized University.
For Medical Candidates:
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anatomy after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS in Anatomy or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
For Non-Medical Candidates:
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
Professor of Anesthesiology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D in Anesthesiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Cardiology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) D.M. in Cardiology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
12 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Cardiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. in Cardiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
11 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Cardiology for the candidates possessing 03 years recognized degree of D.M. in Cardiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
Professor of Emergency Medical Service
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Emergency Medical Service or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Emergency Medical Service after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Emergency Medical Service or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Medical Education & Tele Medicine (NTTC)
(i) Post Graduate Qualifications, i.e. Master’s Degree in Medical Education & Tele Medicine or allied subjects.
(ii) A Doctorate (Ph. D.) Degree from a recognized University/institute.
14 years’ teaching and/ or research experience in Medical Education & Tele Medicine or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree
Professor of Medicine
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D in Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D in Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Medical Gastroenterology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) D.M. in Medical Gastroenterology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
12 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Medical Gastroenterology after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. in Medical Gastroenterology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
11 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Medical Gastroenterology for the candidates possessing three years recognized degree of D.M. in Medical Gastroenterology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
Professor of Nephrology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) D.M. in Nephrology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
12 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Nephrology after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. in Nephrology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
11 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Nephrology for the candidates possessing three years recognized degree of D.M. in Nephrology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D / M.S in Obstetrics and Gynecology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Obstetrics and Gynecology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D / MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Orthopaedic surgery
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Orthopedics or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Orthopedics after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in Orthopedics or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Pharmacology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Pharmacology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For Non-Medical Candidates:-
(i) Post Graduate Qualifications, i.e. Master’s Degree in Pharmacology or allied subjects.
(ii) A Doctorate (Ph. D.) Degree from a recognized University/ institute.
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Pharmacology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Pharmacology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
For Non-Medical Candidates:-
14 years’ teaching and/or research experience in Pharmacology or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree
Professor of Radio-Diagnosis
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Radio-Diagnosis or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in RadioDiagnosis after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Radio-Diagnosis or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Radiotherapy
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Radiotherapy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Radiotherapy after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Radiotherapy or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Surgery
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Surgery after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in Surgery or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Professor of Urology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) M.Ch. in Urology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
12 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Urology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. in Urology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
11 years teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Urology for the candidates possessing three years recognized degree of M.Ch. in Urology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Endocrinology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) D.M. in Endocrinology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
One year teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in Endocrinology after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. in Endocrinology (two years or five years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualifying recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the three years recognized degree of D.M. in Endocrinology or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Emergency Medical Service
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Emergency Medical Service or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Emergency Medical Service after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Emergency Medical Service or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of ENT
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in ENT or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in ENT after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in ENT or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Forensic Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Forensic Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Forensic Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
Assistant Professor of Geriatric Medicine
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Geriatric Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Geriatric Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Geriatric Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
Assistant Professor of Medical Education & Tele Medicine
(i) Post Graduate Qualifications, i.e. Master’s Degree in Medical Education & Tele Medicine or allied subjects.
(ii) A Doctorate (Ph. D) Degree
Three years’ teaching and/ or research experience in Medical Education & Tele Medicine or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree
Assistant Professor of Medicine
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) M.Ch. in Neuro-Surgery (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
One year teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in NeuroSurgery after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. in Neuro-Surgery (two years or five years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualifying recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the three years recognized degree of M.Ch. in Neuro-Surgery or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) . A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynecology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Obstetrics & Gynecology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynecology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Ophthalmology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Ophthalmology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in Ophthalmology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic surgery
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S in Orthopedics or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Orthopedics after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S in Orthopedics or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Pharmacology
For Medical Candidates:-
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Pharmacology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For Non-Medical Candidates:-

(i) A Medical qualification

Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Paediatrics after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D in Paediatrics or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Paediatric-Surgery
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) M.Ch. in Pediatric-Surgery (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
One year teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in PediatricSurgery after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. in Pediatric-Surgery (two years or five years course recognized after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the three years recognized degree of M.Ch. in Paediatric-Surgery or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Radiotherapy
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Radiotherapy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Radiotherapy after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Radiotherapy or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Surgery
(i) A Medical qualification
(ii) A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Surgery after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in Surgery or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Transfusion Medicine
(i) A Medical qualification
A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.S. in Transfusion Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in Transfusion Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.S. in Transfusion Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
