To recruit teachers some competitive exams like TET are conducted on a state level. Those who clear these tests can directly join government schools. The minimum age limit to get a job in any govt school is 21 years.

Teacher Eligibility Tests are the first step to get a job in government schools. The Central and State Government conducts TET to recruit government teachers for Classes I to VIII. There are 02 papers in TET – Paper I for teachers of Classes I to V and Paper II for teachers of Classes to VI to VII.
